Originally playing in Shea Stadium (and the Polo Grounds before that), the Jets moved into Giants Stadium in the 1980s, and much like a freeloading roommate, they have remained in The Meadowlands ever since. A new stadium and a new name later, the rivals still share a building, confusing many.

MetLife Stadium opened on April 10, 2010, and the first NFL game was played there on Sept. 12, 2010. It was originally known as New Meadowlands Stadium, but MetLife got the naming rights for the venue a year after it opened in 2011.
